Students Activity Committee

Creation of the Committee:

The purpose of the Student Activity Committee is to provide leadership and assistance in developing students programs. The primary function of the Committee is to plan, organize, coordinate and monitor the implementation of student-related activities. The aim is to provide a committed platform to conduct student’s activities through leadership development and quality programming

Objectives:

  • To empower students to develop the skills necessary for reaching their career goals
  • To enhance student learning and personality development by creating an educationally purposeful and disciplined platform
  • Develop student activities
  • To motivate the students to participate in various programs and activities for the development of the their career, personality and organizational skills

Selection procedures:

The faculty gives their choice for acting as coordinators in the Students Mentoring and Counseling Committee. Based on the choice given by the faculty and students, the College Academic Committee in consultation with Heads of the Departments selects the coordinators.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identification of student volunteers for various committees and events.
  • Conducting orientation on the roles and responsibilities of the selected volunteers
  • Identification of talents among students.
  • Monitoring of club activities in the college.
  • Preparation of reports on professional activities, guest lectures, events and other activities.
  • Encouraging students to participate in various events in and outside the college.
  • Maintaining reports on student participation at various events.
