Training And Placement Cell

The Training & Placements Cell is formed to provide all possible assistance to the students in their efforts to find employment. The Purpose of the Cell is to guide the students to choose right career and to give them the knowledge, skill and aptitude to meet the industry. The placement cell consists of faulty members and student coordinators of the college.

Objectives:

• To provide personal and career related support to the students.
• To conduct the training programs to students on employability skills
• To provide placement in various industries/organizations by arranging campus recruitment drives.
• To consistently provide competitive skills to fit in present scenario

Selection procedures:

• To provide personal and career related support to the students.
• The faculty members give their choice for acting as coordinators in the Laboratory Committee. Based on the choice given by the faculty and students, the College Academic Committee in consultation with Heads of the Departments selects the coordinators.

Tenure:

The tenure of the selected coordinator and member is for one academic year.

Coordinators:

The Training & Placements Cell has been reconstituted for every year. For the academic year 2023-25, following members are appointed

Responsibilities:

• Preparation for placement training schedule
• Conducting training sessions in consultation with Central Placement office
• Maintenance of data base of students and sending the same to the placement department as and when required
• Preparation of placement brochure
• Maintenance of records related to the companies visited, students placed along with offer letters of the students
• Display of information on the notice boards
• Information to students and parents on successful placement
• Preparations for placement day celebrations
• Conducting Placement Day
• Maintenance of relevant records
